Web Enabling a Critical Sales Forecasting Tool

Aprosoft was engaged by one of the global leaders in semiconductor and electronics subsystems manufacturing to web-enable and enhance their internal sales forecasting tool. The challenge was to accomplish this with minimal disruption to the existing production environment and without losing any existing data, while enhancing the functionality, usability and reliability of the system. The new system also had to be built on a tight budget and short development and delivery cycle. Aprosoft was able to achieve all the project objectives with success and helped streamline the customer’s internal sales forecasting process and reliability. The system was also designed and built to scale up for many more users distributed across the globe.

This system was fully architected and developed by Aprosoft, with only business analysts involved from the client side. There were daily SCRUM meetings between onshore and offshore resources on the project via audio conferences. The project was completed successfully on time, and within budget with strong quality and usability factors.
